About Navina Jafa:-

Dr.Navina Jafa combines a multifaceted personality as a cultural professional. She specializes in creative activities ranging from academic cultural tourism, cultural representation, cultural diplomacy, arts in development programs and conflict transformation through Arts. She is a cultural activist, an academician, a performing artist, cultural historian and cultural entrepreneur.

Her work has reached out to grassroots communities, academicians, high level political and economic delegates, students, corporate executives and children. Dr. Jafa was a Fulbright Scholar in 2006 at the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage in Washington DC,taught a program on Performance, Culture and Development at Brandeis University,Boston, and Performing Arts in Development Communication at Jamia Milia University,Delhi and Relationship between Performing Arts and Visual Arts at the National Museum Delhi. She has written several papers and monographs on different aspects of Indian culture and has just completed her first book on Exhibiting Cultures case study of walking stories on Delhi.

  2. Performing Arts in Development Communication’ at Jamia Milia University, Delhi
  3. Relationship between Performing Arts and Visual Arts at the National Museum Delhi.

  2. Abhinaya in Kathak Dance
  3. Conflict Transformation through Cultural Productions.
